TSUNAMI WARNING Due to the “NEW MOON” tonight, a “TSUNAMI” warning has been issued for the mid-Atlantic east coast region of the United States. This will be the first time in our history that a “TSUNAMI” of this size will impact with such force. It will begin innocently enough, even appealing to the eye, with “RIPPLES” bringing about a “SPLASH” and some “MIST” to the affected area. But then the tide will become a bit stronger, causing a powerful “CURRENT” so fierce, that it will create surging “BREAKERS”, that are stunning in their beauty. Just when you think you’re safe, the waters begin to spiral, eventually leading to a “VORTEX” with such power, anyone near it will be pulled in. Finally, all these forces of nature lead to the mightiest wave of them all, the “TSUNAMI” - the supreme wave. Some didn’t expect it, some have feared it, and some have only believed it existed in their dreams. But it's real, it's here, and it will only keep getting stronger. Maryland Marlins All-Stars began in the fall of 1997 when 12 girls came, 12 girls tried out, and 12 girls made the team. With the commitment and enthusiasm of our founder, Maryland Marlins has grown into 10 teams, over 20 staff members, and numerous cheer athletes. As an affiliate of the Maryland Marlins organization you will feel like a member of a big family. We not only introduce technique in our athletes, but also inspire responsibility, dedication, and confidence in order to build strong leaders both on and off the competition floor. All athletes will have a home here at the Maryland Marlins regardless of age or skill level. We take immense pride in providing all of our athletes with outstanding instruction. Classes are designed with age and ability level in mind. Through these opportunities we hope to instill a strong self-esteem and sense of pride in every athlete. |
